E-bay sends cows to Africa!

You can now send a cow to Africa just by buying and selling on E-bay. 'Send a Cow' had benefited from the 'E-bay for charity' programme where sellers can donate a percentage of their sale price to the charity of their choosing. Ebayers taking part can help provide poor farmers in Africa with livestock and training in organic farming helping them to work their way out of poverty.

Is this the end of the jumble sale as we know it? Ebay is now providing the same charity raising service that your local jumble or nearly new sale would provide and is bringing in a new generation of charity donators. For me its not the same without the tea and coffee cake in a dusty church hall...
